A 30-year-old Spring Valley native has now been charged in the near-fatal beating of his own infant son.

Slobodan Todoric appeared before a judge in Paterson, New Jersey, yesterday.

He's facing charges of aggravated assault, child abuse, neglect and endangerment.

It comes after Todoric's 4-week old son was rushed to the emergency room unresponsive, with external and internal injuries.

Detectives interviewed several witnesses before arresting Todoric Monday.
