Police say a car crash along I-684 in Katonah has caused major traffic problems for drivers.

The crash happened on the southbound side Sunday morning.   

According to state police, a car hit the post of an overhead sign. Exits six through eight were shut down for hours.  It has since re-opened.

It is unknown what caused the crash or the condition of the driver.
