A man was spotted on a street in Huntington Station with what appeared to be a gun.

Suffolk County police say they saw him walking with another person on Tower Street, a residential block not far off of Route 110, on Wednesday afternoon.

Officers say both men then ran off through backyards.

The suspect was last seen on Third Avenue by West Fourth Street.

No other details have been released.
