Police are searching for a person who broke into a gas station in North Castle overnight.

Workers at the Royal Petroleum location on Route 22 say the incident happened around 4 a.m.

They called town police when they found the front door window smashed and opened.

They say several cartons of cigarettes and some change were taken.

No one was in the store at the time of the incident.
