A man was fatally shot Sunday afternoon in University Heights.

Police say they arrived at the corner of West Fordham Road and Aqueduct Avenue at around 3 p.m.

They found Robert Brown, 62, with a gunshot wound to the head. He was transported to St. Barnabus Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

There was no immediate information regarding suspects or motive for the shooting.
