Two people are recovering from serious injuries after a car crash on Route 6 in Woodbury, according to officials.

They say both occupants were extricated and transported to local hospitals with serious injuries.

The Woodbury Fire Department and Mombasha Fire Company were on scene.

There is no word yet on what led to the crash.
