Mount Vernon's former top attorney has been found guilty on corruption charges.

The jury found Lawrence Porcari guilty of corrupting the government, larceny and defrauding the government.

Prosecutors charged that Porcari stole more than $350,000 from the city Water Department to pay for then-Mayor Richard Thomas' personal legal bills and a public relations firm.
