A wake was held Monday for a Mount Vernon native and well-known meteorologist.

Elise Finch died suddenly last week at 51 years old.

A celebration of life will be held tomorrow at 10:30 a.m.

Finch had recently moved back to Mount Vernon.

She leaves behind her husband and daughter.
