A Mount Vernon man was sentenced to 15 years in prison for fatally shooting his roommate in 2020.

Akeem Palmer, 25, pleaded guilty to manslaughter.

Palmer shot and killed 23-year-old Ryan Solomon during an argument in the apartment they shared.
