State police say a motorcyclist was killed in a crash on the New York State Thruway overnight.

They say It happened northbound between exits 17 and 16 in the Town of Cornwall just after midnight

Police say a car rear-ended the motorcycle, forcing the cyclist to be ejected.

He was pronounced dead.

The vehicle driver remained on the scene.

No other information has been released.
