The Hudson Valley Humane Society says on Wednesday a duck was brought in with an injured beak.

They say several things could have caused the injury, including a snapping turtle bite. The duck “Roxxy” was transferred to the Wild Bird Fund in Manhattan for expert care.

“Roxxy” was treated and was released back into her territory.
