Police say 23-year-old Andrew Lamb, of Mamaroneck, was arrested and is facing hate crime charges in connection to the
vandalism of a Black Lives Matter mural. He is due back in court at a later date.
A man is in critical condition following an attack inside his home in the Town of Wallkill. Police say the 24-year-old was sleeping in his Sandburg Court home and woke up to four people hitting him in the head and body with a gun. They got away with the victim's gold chain with a cross pendant.
A Queens man who police say expressed support for the deadly 2019 machete attack at a rabbi's Monsey home has been sentenced to prison. Joseph Miner, 31, will spend five years behind bars for purchasing an illegal gun in 2020.
