An apartment complex in Cortlandt was evacuated by a hazmat crew Wednesday afternoon after a man sustained severe burns possibly caused by chemicals.

Police say the incident may be connected to a meth lab operating out of 3469 Lexington Ave.

A 37-year-old man was taken to Hudson Valley Hospital to be treated for severe burns to his legs.
