A hawk is safe today after being saved by police officers in Greenburgh.

The hawk crashed through the window of a home in Greenburgh and was stuck inside.

Officers came to the rescue, and the bird of prey was safely released back into the wild.

The police department posted pictures to their Facebook page of the incident.
