A former West Point staff sergeant is headed to prison.

Patrick Edwin Gorychka was sentenced to 3 ½ years, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

The Wisconsin resident pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography.

He was also sentenced to five years’ probation.

The investigation began in 2019.
