Flooding remained a problem in Hastings-on-Hudson Wednesday after Tuesday's heavy downpours.
The southbound Saw Mill River Parkway near Jackson Avenue still had quite a bit of standing water. Storm drains were overflowing and drivers were having a tough time getting around.
Drivers heading southbound on the Saw Mill near Clarence Avenue had to make their way through waterlogged streets. One lane near the Jackson Avenue overpass was closed because of flooding.
Farther down on the Saw Mill, roads such as Farragut Avenue in Yonkers and Hearst Street have reopened.
