A fire at an apartment complex has displaced several families overnight in Spring Valley.

Firefighters were called to Regency Village Apartments at Building One on Fletcher Road around 1 a.m. Sunday morning.  

At least one person was reportedly trapped and had to be rescued.

News 12 was told the fire was quickly put out and contained to one apartment, but heavy smoke forced firefighters to evacuate the entire building.
