The City of Newburgh will now have officers on foot patrol to help curb crime.

Officials in the crime-plagued city say two to four patrol officers will be assigned daily to Newburgh's main stretch on Broadway.

The foot patrols are part of the city's latest efforts to improve community relations, provide outreach and lower crime, including gun violence.
