Village of Mamaroneck Recreation Department says that there is no swimming at the Stephen E. Johnston Beach at Harbor Island Park today.

Village officials and Westchester County Health Department say it's because of the bacteria levels due to the five inches of rain that they received earlier this week.

Visitors are welcome to walk and sit on the beach.

Officials will continue to monitor the safety levels.
