A half-million dollars is headed to a historic site in Cold Spring.
The money is headed to help restore Boscobel House and Gardens one month after Sen. Chuck Schumer visited the property.
Nearly two years ago, the ceiling of the historic library collapsed without warning, damaging the 200‑year‑old collection and building.
The funding will allow officials to restore and structurally repair the damaged ceiling, increase safety and accessibility, and add public restrooms.
