Police: 29-year-old man shot and killed in Unionport

Police say they are investigating the homicide of a 29-year-old man who was shot and killed in Unionport.
According to the NYPD, officers responded to a 911 call at approximately 12:17 a.m. on Sunday for a male shot on Haviland Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers discovered the man had suffered a gunshot wound to the chest.
The victim was transported by private means to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The identity of the victim is currently withheld pending family notification.
No arrests have been made.
The investigation is ongoing.
