Police are searching for four men who they say stole a car from two women in Mill Basin. They say the thieves struck a 72-year-old woman with the car while she was sitting in her walker and knocked another woman to the ground.

The carjacking unfolded just before 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Lowe’s parking lot, in front of 5602 Avenue U.

Authorities say the men walked up to the 2004 Toyota Corolla while the women were loading items into the vehicle.

One thief got into the car and started to drive off when he struck the woman and knocked the 48-year-old to the ground.

The driver and two other men drove off in the stolen Toyota while the fourth man escaped in a black Nissan.

Police say the approximate value of the items inside the car was just under $900.

Both women suffered minor injuries and turned down medical attention.

Authorities say the men are approximately 18 to 20 years old.

Anyone with information is urged to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
