Tractor trailer bursts into flames on I 95, slowing Thursday night traffic
Firefighters say they quickly knocked down the fire and kept it from spreading to the trailer.

A tractor trailer fire shut down part of I‑95 South between Exits 17 and 16 in Norwalk Thursday evening around 7:30 p.m.
Norwalk and Westport fire departments arrived to find the tractor portion of a fully loaded tractor trailer engulfed in flames.
Firefighters say they quickly knocked down the fire and kept it from spreading to the trailer.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire remains undetermined.
