For the next two weeks, Stratford Library is teaching local girls about the importance of Women's History Month through its Grab n' Go program.

Grab n' Go bags include inspirational swag like stickers, bookmarks, bracelets and more.

Staff say students grades six through 12 can stop by the Lovell Room to grab a bag, write notes for the women in their lives, and check out books on women's history.

"As a woman, I feel that it is the most important thing to inspire young girls, because I do serve the teenage population, to be their best selves,” said Tiffany McCrae, head of teen services at Stratford Library. "And just educating them about all the wonderful women we have in the world today."

Students can grab swag bags now through March 20, while supplies last.
