Lindenhurst stabbing victim lost two fingers, had multiple skull fractures, says prosecutor

Police said 42-year-old Tesfa Tucker attacked a 27-year-old man with a knife Tuesday evening in Lindenhurst.

The prosecutor said the victim lost two fingers and had multiple skull fractures.

Part of his skull was observed at the scene of the incident, the prosecutor said.

It happened on North Putnam Avenue around 5:30 p.m.

Tucker faces multiple charges including, two counts of assault.

His lawyer said his client denies being the one who did this.

Bail was set at $750,000 cash.
