From a digital design to the physical sign on a storefront, Valle Signs in Copiague manufactures for businesses nationwide.

"All day, we're designing," said Oscar Valle, President, and CEO of Valle Signs & Awnings. Oscar Valle brings digital prints to life. All the magic happens in his shop.

You have probably seen some of his signs and awnings at your favorite shopping and dining places. "From the small signs to illuminating tower signs and pylon signs, we do it all," said Oscar. From restaurants to supermarkets, banks, and doctor's offices, Oscar says his team can make any sign.

"We have been working with M&T Bank for the last two years. We deal with about 40-60 locations, and they are one of our biggest customers," said Oscar.

Oscar started the business over 20 years ago. He was always glued to being an engineer but said he didn't have the money to pay for college. "Making signs is similar to what engineers do. You need an engineer to tell you the footing, the steel, the body over the sign," said Oscar.

The business goal is to help advertise storefronts. However, Oscar says his personal goals in the workshop are bigger. "The goal is to be happy," he laughs, "happy while I am making signs."
