A professor from Princeton University is helping to study the sun for SpaceX.

IMAP is a mission that will help analyze exactly what is coming out of the sun and track the solar winds.

David McComas is the principal investigator on the mission.

When he's not at the Kennedy Space Center, he teaches astrophysics at Princeton.
