According to Gas Buddy, the national average is the lowest it's been in three years.

Right now, the average in Connecticut is $3.02 per gallon.

Last year it was $3.30 in 2021 - gas price was $3.51.

Those at the pumps have mixed emotions on how good these prices are.

“It’s under $3 and I hope it stays that way,” said a driver.

“$2.89, $3, I don’t really think it’s much of a difference,” said another driver.

According to Gas Buddy the cheapest station in Connecticut is priced at $2.65 and the most expensive is $3.89.
