Vote 2024: Has Long Island's electorate turned red?

President-Elect Donald Trump won Nassau County in the 2024 election, after losing the county by almost 10 points in 2020.

Nassau County's GOP believes Long Island is becoming deeper and deeper red - and that their strategies have been paying off.

President-Elect Donald Trump won both Nassau and Suffolk counties in the 2024 presidential election.

Experts News 12 spoke with, however, believe that Long Island is still very much purple, and that the electorate has not changed, people are just voting differently.
