Several Yonkers events have been canceled this year amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The Tour de Yonkers, the seventh annual Yonkers Arts Weekend and the 2020 Yonkers Marathon were canceled.
Last year's Yonkers Marathon had one of the best turnouts in recent years, with nearly 1,500 runners.
The race began in 1907, making it the second oldest marathon in the nation. It's also a Boston Marathon qualifier.
This year's Boston Marathon was canceled also. A series of "virtual runs" will be held instead throughout the second week of September.
It's not clear if the Yonkers Marathon will do the same.
