Business owners in the Hudson Valley are preparing for phase two, and there could be some big changes coming to salons.
The GlamBar in Yonkers has been closed for months. It has been helping clients with Instagram tutorials.
With phase two of reopening possibly two weeks away, the salon's owner Gianna Tummolo is getting ready to get customers back in the chairs.
Tummolo says the front desk with have a "sneeze guard," there will be plexiglass partitions between each station and workers will have capes to cover themselves.

The state has not laid out its expectations yet, but Tummolo says salons will most likely not be allowed to blow dry hair or do makeup.
Tummolo says the challenge will be to juggle the clients who cannot wait for a color touch up or trim, but there will be two stylists working per day.
Clients will have to wait in their cars and temperatures will be checked before anyone enters the building.
If the seven state metrics stay the same or continue in a downward trend, the GlamBar and similar professional services in the Mid-Hudson could reopen as early as June 9.
