A priest in Monroe is now doing drive-thru confessions for Catholics during the COVID-19 crisis.
Father David Rider, with Sacred Heart Church, calls his unique social distancing approach to confession - “Mobile Mercy!”
Father Rider sits outside the church on Still Road on Saturdays from 3:30 p.m.-5 p.m.
Cars pull up six feet away and confession is taken through the driver’s rolled down window.
Father Rider says Catholics from all churches are welcome and that, so far, hundreds have driven through to confess.
