Parking lots strewn with discarded gloves and face masks have become a major problem of its own during the pandemic.
Several reports of gloves and masks being improperly disposed of has prompted a PSA from Eastchester first responders.
The first responders say throwing your gloves on the ground is very dangerous and poses a threat to DPW employees and the environment.
The video also explains how to properly take the gloves off to prevent cross-contamination.
