Tanker truck catches fire in Ossining

The traffic problems caused by an oil tanker truck fire on Route 9A in Ossining have been resolved.

Police say it happened on South Highland Avenue near Ossining High School around 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Traffic was being diverted between Main Street and Waller Avenue. The streets have since been cleared

There is no word yet on what caused the tanker to catch fire.
