A Mount Vernon gang member admitted to shooting two people, as well as plotting to kill a witness to the shooting.

Matthew Brown, 34, pleaded guilty in county court.

Authorities say Brown, a G-Shine Bloods Gang associate, was ordered to shoot a man outside a Mount Vernon bar by the gang's leader in 2016.

The target was shot along with an innocent bystander.

Both victims survived.

Brown could face 20 years in state prison.
