7-Eleven to test stores without cashiersPosted: Updated:
Getting in and out of a 7-Eleven convenience store could soon become even more convenient.
The company is testing new technology that would get rid of cashiers.
To make a purchase, you would download an app and check in at the store.
Then you just walk out, and the store charges your bank account and sends a receipt.
Currently, the only test store is available to employees at 7-Eleven headquarters in Texas.
