Posted: Updated:

A restaurant owner from the Hudson Valley has been sentenced for shooting a man outside of his store in the Bronx.

Prosecutors say 52-year-old Kenton Connerly, of Port Chester, got into a dispute with a worker from his restaurant, Simply Seafood, over a paycheck in 2017.

They say Connerly then pistol-whipped Lorenzo Daley and the gun went off, hitting Daley in the neck.

Daley was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Connerly has been sentenced to 20 years in prison.
