Rockslide slows traffic on Saw Mill Parkway in Mount Kisco

Posted: Updated:

A rockslide slowed down traffic on the Saw Mill Parkway in northern Westchester this morning.

Officials say rocks closed the right lane of the southbound parkway just south of Exit 34 for Route 133 in Mount Kisco.

They say the slide didn't hit any cars, but some vehicles have suffered some damage after running over rocks.

DOT crews were called in to clear the rocks and they were able to reopen the parkway around 5:40 a.m.
