Harrison man sues county for $5M after tripping over airport luggage scale

Posted: Updated:

A Harrison man is suing Westchester County for $5 million after tripping over a luggage scale at the county airport.

The plaintiff, Ralph Faga, claims he was trying to buy an airline ticket when he says the clerk told him to come over the counter.

Faga says that's when he tripped over the scale. He says he could not see it and that's why he got hurt.

Court documents say the incident happened back in August.

A county spokesperson says they do not comment on pending litigation.
