Some New Yorkers will be getting an increase in their paycheck starting today.

Across most of the state, minimum wage is going up to $11.80 per hour.

In Westchester, the rate is going to $13 per hour.

In 2016, Gov. Andrew Cuomo enacted the gradual increase up to $15 an hour. Minimum wage in Westchester will reach that $15 mark by the end of 2021.
