Army sergeant faces court-martial in West Point cadet death

An Army sergeant charged in a vehicle rollover that killed a West Point cadet will face trial by a court-martial.

An Army spokesman says 22-year-old Christopher Morgan was killed when an Army tactical vehicle overturned on a dirt road in between West Point's Camp Buckner and the Camp Natural Bridge summer training site in June.

Nineteen other cadets were hurt.

Staff Sgt. Ladonies Strong faces charges including involuntary manslaughter and negligent homicide.

A trial date has not yet been set.
