Port Jefferson steps back in time with annual Charles Dickens Festival

The Village of Port Jefferson has been transformed into the Dickensian era.
The 24th annual Charles Dickens Festival helped get revelers into the Christmas spirit through Christmas carols and Victorian garb.
“We always get into the spirit here in Port Jeff Village,” said Mayor Margaret Garant.
The weekend’s highlights include the Festival of Trees, the skating rink and, of course, Santa’s workshop.
The fun continues Sunday in the streets of the village.
