Bronx woman sentenced for Chappaqua home invasion

Posted: Updated:

A Bronx woman has been sentenced to eight years in prison for a Chappaqua home invasion.

Prosecutors say Mirabai Sheridan, and her accomplice Philip Budin, followed a woman from a nearby supermarket to her home in 2018.

They say Sheridan used a gun to force her way inside and tied up the victim, while Budin waited outside in the car.

The duo was arrested while investigators witnessed them following another potential victim home.

Budin will not serve prison time. He was sentenced earlier to five years' probation plus restitution.
