Posted: Updated:

A woman, who was tied up and robbed at gunpoint, was able to escape in Yonkers on Tuesday, according to authorities.

NYPD officials say the woman got into an SUV in the Bronx with a male acquaintance and a second unidentified male on Tuesday afternoon.  Once inside the SUV, the male known to the victim pulled out a handgun and robbed the victim of her cellphones. Then, the victim says the suspects tied her hands and feet with zip ties.

Police say the two men then drove to a Boost Mobile in Yonkers where the victim was able to escape and call for help. The suspects then fled the scene.

The victim sustained only a minor injury.

Anyone with information on the suspects is asked to call NYPD's Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
