Rockland County holds 3rd Annual Toy and Clothing Drive

Posted: Updated:

Rockland County is getting into the holiday spirit by holding its 3rd Annual Toy and Clothing Drive for kids.

Organizers are collecting new, unwrapped items for children from newborns to teenagers from now until late December.

Officials say even the smallest donations can make a world of a difference to local children and families in need. “It’s always so crucial here in Rockland County that yes, we have very affluent parts of Rockland County. But we also have families that are in need, that we service here in the Department of Social Services every day. And just to assume that we have a lot of large homes, we also have people that are struggling,” says Joan Silvestri, of Rockland County Social Services.

You can drop off toys and clothes in bins throughout the Yeager Health Center Complex in Pomona, as well as the county executive and county clerk’s offices in New City.
