Officials in Peekskill say they have identified the source of an online threat at Peekskill Middle School on Wednesday.

The school district put a message on Facebook saying they have identified the student and are working with police. “We wanted to communicate to families that we have identified the source of the threat and are currently working with our security team and the Peekskill

Police Department on an investigation,” says Superintendent of Schools Dr. David Mauricio.

Mauricio says all students are safe and instruction is continuing as normal.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at (914) 737-8000.
