Alleged leaders, members of mafia family convicted of murder in 2013 killingPosted: Updated:
Officials say alleged leaders and members of a mafia family have been convicted of murder in the killing of a man in 2013.
They say 72-year-old Steven Crea, from Crestwood, and 45-year-old Christopher Londonio, from Hartsdale, were both involved in the death of Michael Meldish.
Officials say Crea is the official underboss and second-in-command of the Luchese family, who was involved in the decision to kill Meldish.
They say Londonio is a made member of the Luchese family and helped set up Meldish to be killed and acted as a getaway driver.
Both are facing life in prison.
