Police: 14-year-old stabbed in the middle of busy Fordham intersection

A teenager was stabbed at a busy intersection in Fordham on Thursday afternoon.

A teenager was stabbed at a busy intersection in Fordham on Thursday afternoon.
Police say a 14-year-old boy was stabbed under the No. 4 train station. They say he was also robbed of his cellphone.
Police say the suspect ran off after the stabbing, and witnesses say it happened around 12:30 p.m.
They say five police cars and an ambulance took over the area in front of the City MD. Hours later, police say there were still several gloves sprawled on the ground.
Emergency responders took the 14-year-old to St. Barnabas Hospital.
Police say the suspect was wearing a black hoodie and black pants. They also say he was seen running down Jerome and heading north.
An initial search by police for the suspect has not led to an arrest.
