Rain doesn’t damp Halloween spirit at Elizabeth Seton Children's Center

Posted: Updated:

The rain isn't stopping children at Elizabeth Seton Children's Center in Yonkers from showing off their costumes this Halloween.

Children with specialized medical needs marched with smiles for the annual Halloween Parade. "Everybody participates, and they work hard with their costumes; and we just want to shine with the children and the staff together," says Vice President of Operations Adriene Rosell.

From celebrities to fun characters, children, staff and families enjoy a day of fun and celebration. "My favorite thing about today is that I can express myself and other kids can express themselves," says student Stephanie Gabaud.

The center includes a number of organizations including a residential medical center, a school and a rehabilitation center.
