Calling all superhero and anime fans -- the doors have opened to New York Comic Con!

Comic Con is the largest culture convention on the East Coast, and the fun is just beginning for the four-day event.

Attendees came decked out as their favorite pop culture characters. More than 200,000 people are expected to come out to the Javits Center for the event.

Besides booths filled with toys and tees, you can meet actors and actresses from some big TV shows and movies as part of panels, interviews and discussions.
